I always considered the coming of the comet and the eruption of Tharsis to mark the ages. They always occurred during a war between good and evil, where some transition took place, every thousand years. Until now, it has been rather cut and dry. "Well, the dark is reigning, so it's this age; now the light is reigning, so it's this age," and so on and so forth.
But now, we have a light ==> light cycle. The comet came and Tharsis erupted, but the power did not shift, which was the only major difference. However, the light was not supposed to win. I would not consider this to be just simply part of the Wolf Age. The leveller has been beaten when he was not supposed to be, and the cycle has possibly been broken. I would think that this would warrant an age of it's own. Maybe the age of Hope, or Possibility, or something or other. There was a transition here. Not light to dark or vice versa, but light (cycles) to light (man chooses his own fate).
