Thank you very much, Iron; I'm making those corrections as we speak.
: You've obviously done a stack of work here, and I commend
: you. Please allow me to point out a few things - don't
: take offence as I'm only trying to help you build on
: what you've already done.
Np.
: A quick look reveals spelling errors - you really should
: fix these...
: oblitterated should be obliterated
: abbriviation -> abbreviation
: Miscelaneous -> Miscellaneous
: echoe -> echo
Lol, I feel like Dan Quayle.
: attrocious -> atrocious
: impotantly -> impotently
: Barbacan -> Barbican
: Tramsits -> Tramists
: Soulblighter beings building -> Soulblighter begins
: building
: retrived -> retrieved
: There could be more I haven't noticed - I suggest running
: it through a spellchecker.
This serves me right for trying to do the whole thing in one day :-).
: I wouldn't deride the fir'Bolg's archery skills that
: much, nor make out that the humans were way better
: than them.
: That's only derived from changes to a Fear tag between
: TFL and Myth 2, whereas all the flavours point to
: fir'Bolg being truly gifted bowmen. The Dwarves gained
: far more skill with their cocktail making between TFL
: and M2 if the tags are anything to go on, but this is
: never remarked on as relating to anything meaningful
: in Myth history. In the same way, changes to melee
: gameplay aren't explained as new fighting skills
: discovered by Alric etc.
Oh, I know…I'm just adding a little humor to the site. I'm an Archer, so it's appropriate that my humor be consentrated on that :-).
: Did Balor defeat the Forest Giants to break through into
: the province? I thought it was just that the giants
: didn't turn up that year.
GURPS details that the Forest Giants indeed lost, I believe, as well as original Myth resources. The Forest Giants didn't return the next winter to places further west, like Scales, because Balor had beaten them, presumably.
: Also, I heard somewhere that Soulblighter created the
: Barrier, not Balor.
News to me.
: Lastly, the final sentence don't make a lot of sense -
: "the world made safe from the evil of the
: world"? Hmm.
You must have missed the "is", otherwise I'd be fragmenting :-). "The world is again made safe from the evil of the world."
: Anyway, a job well done Archer :)
Thank you very much, Iron. I'm glad you liked it :-).
: *cheers*
