Well, Andrew Meggs did say that those preview images are "ancient", so who knows...

Anyone's guess mb. I imagine them to have those blades
while alive (although mb not made of a human femur) as
why would they change weapons? They were highly skilled
with them too, more reason to suppose they'd used them for
a long time. (The ambidextrous ones are particularly
skillful eh? ;)
