: A lot of sources are available for various theories to do
: with myth, but often there is no 'one' theory.
: Building on the interest that people have shown over my
: bestiary idea, i think there should be a site, mb
: expanding on the theories and options that
: myth@bungie.org has given us, where defined and
: consoladated views and teachings can be viewed, for
: people who arn't driven enough to investigate further,
I think it's a generally good idea, but that it doesn't really need an entirely new site for it. My recent Delusions articles go over the larger topics of the Myth universe in theoretical detail; similar Delusions and Relics articles could go over the things you talk about below.
: as someone put in the other thread,... a sortof college
: of myth, everything from a bestiary, to a list of all
: the weapons in each game, to teachings on how the
: mythworld began.
I was actually just thinking about a new Relics article, "The Fallen Lords", detailing the histories of all the Fallen Lords as we know them. Similar articles - "The History of Myth", "Artifacts", etc - could be written, citing sources and hyperlinking to the Encyclopedia. Anyone is free to submit a Relics or Delusions article, you know.
And now that I think about it, the Encyclopedia itself is a lot like this. Want to know everything about the Myrmidons? Go to <http://myth.bungie.org/legends/encyclopedia/who.shtml#myrmidons>. Of course there's no GURPS info there right now, but that's next on my list of things to do.
