Who was the more powerful person and whose army was harder to beat are two very different questions. I think Balor himself was much more powerful than Soulblighter, but that Soulblighter's army was more powerful than Balor's.

Soulblighter's army was definitely better than Balor's, despite being, from what I can tell, smaller.
: As for the Mighty Trow,they were no real threat for

To truly know was more destructive, we would need to give both of them the same army and pit them against the same light force. Any true comparison has to take into account the differences in the wars and the forces, which is very hard to do.

Balor and the Fallen Lords(themselves, not their armies) killed several avatara, who were almost certainly more powerful than Cruniac, as capable as he was.

Which happened both times, so that doesn't say much.

Soulblighter didn't have a Fortress. And Alric's only way to fight Balor himself was with the Eblis(sp?) stone. Besides, the reason the sword is so effective is because Alric is extremely powerful.

True, but consider that Balor was powerful enough to BIND the fallen lords to him, while Soulblighter was probably not(since if he was, I would imagine that he would have done it)
