Long time ago I had a disagreement about who was the most destructive person and whose army was harder to beat. The Majority vote Balor-the Leveler-.Me and few others were the minority to support Soulblighter.
The followings are facts that lead me to my previous decision
-Exept the original known dark army of Thralls,Wights,Ghasts,Soulless,Fethces and Ghols
Soulblighter had the terrible Myrkridia and Myrkridia Giants!!!( No ordinary warrior can stand and fight a Myrk)
-There are no longer the Forrest Giants who were a very important unit for the light
-Fir'Bolg no longer support forces of light. That means that King Alric's army miss their technologies and he forces to spend number of his vital/healthy men to train them as range units(Bowmen)insteed of strenghtening the Legion.
-Soulblighter got another hard defensive unit:Mauls.
-Soulblighter brought one of the best and most frightful units:"Mahir".
-Soulblighter sieged and destroyed the cities of light much easier than Balor (he even took Tandem).
As for the Mighty Trow, they were no real threat for Soulblighter. We seldom saw them in action (they only took place in the siege/capture/defense of Muirthemne. They were allies for only one year with the light and from the time that he had Myrkridia Giants in his army he was stronger than Balor who had Trow.
-Even,there were some people who went at his side like Baron Kilder.
-Soulblighter slaughtered Cruniac(a very capable Warrior)
-Even when the Legion had the Heron guard (Elite troops)King Alric never confronted Soulblighter straight ahead.
He always on the run from city to city.
On the Great War he went a campaign to Balor's Fortress!
-King Alric's only way to fight Soulblighter's army and himself was only with the help of Balmung Sword.
The conclusions now are yours!
Do you still have the same opinion?
PS:O!! and something else:Soulblighter didn't have the aid from other Fallen lords(exept Shiver) like Balor had!
Friedly Din.
