That is exactly what is trying to be found in Modern Physics. There are so many conveluted and contradicting theories which all seem to make sense where they're meant to, and not with eachother, that they just under cut the whole point of the thing. The άber-Theory, as Forrest mentioned, is equivalent to the M-Theory that Modern Physics is searching for.
