To the best of my knowledge, they were a bunch of (roughly) US$10 Myth TFL boxes.
As for communicating with GoD about Myth anything, I have found them to be 100% unresponsive, in my experiance.
The best bet for anybody who has bought a copy of Myth without a serial number is to wait until whenever GoD sets up some sort of customer support for things Myth. They're bound to do something for when Myth 3 is released.
... or you could simply buy the Total Codex from them (which seems to come with serial numbers).
