I always thought myself that the people in Myth were in the infant stages of more modernized warfare. Also when you think about it what would they do with Cavalery? In Bushido all they do is shoot arrows. Plus mostly there attacks would be melee. Thus would myth really change if they added a fast horse unit to supplement your units. My answer is no. Zerks, Myrks, Ghols, and of course trow are plenty fast. Usually I have always thought of my zerks or heron as my advance attack group or scouts that breaks thought lines of thrall or mauls much like a fast cavalery unit would do. Maybe someone with a lance would make for some strategy but I dont think that moving faster would really add any new playing types or generally really any new fun to Myth.
