There were discussions previously as to whether Maeldun and Murgen were swapped around, as Maelden was more of a warrior & Murgen the most highly skilled magic user.
Alric isn't in this picture though. Don't forget that the hooded robe was "standard" avatara clothing - an avatar dressed in this appears standing behind Connacht in the Myth comic.
