I'd guess that it appears to have a lot more pages than it appears to, because if the pages were magically filled with what you were looking for you would only find stuff about yourself and then alric would know when he'd die, and the m1 jounal writer wouldn't see Mr. "A man not yet born who would ressurect the myrkridia and…" hehe
