Er, wait... now that you mention it, I can't think of anywhere that it says it rose in the east. GURPS doesn't mention it, and I was thinking of the quote that said "Second Era tradtion tells of a hero rising in the east..." except it never mentions the comet in that. So we know it was east in Sword Age, the west in the Wolf Age, dunno where from in the Wind Age, and dunno anything at all before that.
