Which is actually what I had alwasy assumed. Note the narrator's term "travelling through the Tain shard...", impying they they got to Soulblighter's camp from Forest Heart by going through the Tain (not that they just beamed into the Tain from Forest Heart and then beamed out in Soulblighter's camp at will).

What are you guys talking about, exploding? It shattered. Like, broke into pieces. Nobody ever said anything about a big fireball or anything. (And it just occurred to me the similarity to PiD's crystals, both in shape and in the fact that they both shatter).
