Phelot actually turns tail and runs after he destroys everything, while the heroes sit there lookin' stupid.
He also had more than the normal amount of dispersal dreams and could have easily finished off the heroes, but he didn't. This has led some to believe that the deciever's mind is inside of phelot. Otherwise he would not have acted so recklessly.
