GURPS is a roleplaying version of MYTH adapted by Steve Jackson Games with the permission of Bungie. Note: I said with the "Permission" of Bungie, not "by" Bungie. This fact has lead many of the die-hards to dispute some of the information in here. Something to remember as a newbie: The manuals are all good, but the game itself has the final word. Therefore, if the manual, strategy guide, or GURPS says one thing, and it's different in the game, how it goes in the game is how it goes. This does not mean, though, that GURPS is not a wonderful tool when debating plot and history.
Anyhoo, GURPS is set up as a roleplaying game (Ex: Dungeons and Dragons, etc..) but is full of History, Character types, General Myth life, Political and social outlines, etc...
