: No, that's not what I meant. You said you didn't know
: they were different because [long personal history].
: Sili said GURPS is the only thing that says they are
: different. Then I just reiterated the point you were
: trying to get across at first: that is says they're
: different in the TFL flavor texts. So you were right,
: Sili was wrong, and I was right for pointing out that
: you were right and Sili was wrong :-)
Ooh, ooh, am not!
"Long enemies of the civilized nations, the truce which brought the fir'Bolg and their famed bowmen into the Light was forged by ou'Kahn the Great King and Caliban during the Sword Age."
No mention of humans in that. There *is* a mention of Caliban and Ou'Kahn providing a truce between *humanity* and the fir'Bolg, but it's...in GURPS! :-P Which was probably what you were thinking of.
I must admit that the Changeling flavor text lists bre'Unor, fir'Bolg and Humans as 3 separate groups, but this doesn't necessarily mean that they're different *species*; primitive cultures often reserve the status of "humanity" to their own people, defining foreigners and rival neighbors as part of the animal kingdom.
