Not trying to over-hype this but you probably should view the link if you are a Halo story fan.

If, like me, you thought that Truth's "plan" didn't make sense? Was he mad? Stupid? Something-else?

This video contains, not just a storyboard for the lost ending to h2, but has Sabertooth's speculations about what Truth's plan actually was.

It makes a lot of sense. Maybe not absolute sense and why wasn't it clearer in Halo 3?
