Honestly? I dunno.
Borderlands and Infinite have pretty much cured me of any interest in a big open world, which kills some other ideas I had, like a Tomb Raider clone. I mean, a Tomb Raider clone where you play as an ONI agent (Think Sam Fisher) and your gadgets are mostly the devices integrated into your MA5 that never got featured in the FPS games.

Writing wise... well, I think the only good era for Halo games is in the Human-Covenant War. The current era, after Necrotana's demise, has some promise. We just have to wait and see if that promise pans out.

I'll have some more concrete ideas later. It's late and I'm tired.
