The HBOFF forum runs on a super-old version of phpBB (2.0.x, not sure what x is), and the server was just (mandatorily) updated - a new version of Apache (2.4 from 2.2), a new version of php (7.1 instead of 5.6), a bunch of other stuff. The biggest problem (immediately) seems to be that phpBB2 doesn't do mysqli out of the box... and php7 doesn't do mysql. There used to be connectors floating around on the web... but all the links I've tried are dead (they're a decade old, at least). I don't have the time it would take to learn enough about importing a phpbb2 database into something newer (and then installing that), and I can't figure out how to (easily) make the existing system work with the new OS/tools... which leaves us with a dead forum. :(

I'm really sorry. This might get fixed at some point... but not immediately.
