It's a balance of healthy and harmful. Yep, it can be said about anything, but that's why you use judgement. It's just as faulty to stay away from anything that could be remotely harmful as it is to just go partake in anything whether it's harmful or not.
So the general rule: Everything in moderation. Some things should be moderated more than others. But just because something can be harmful in some circumstance doesn't mean that it's always harmful.

I was merely pointing out that salt/sodium itself is not harmful. AHA may report that in certain circumstances it can be, but that doesn't mean "don't ever have salt or sodium in your diet ever!"
Everything in moderation. Be aware and wise with your diet. That's all.
