I'm not that excited about Halo 6. I'm still mildly interested in the Master Chief's story, but as long as I can still play the Bungie created Halo games.....I'm good.

I only played a few multiplayer matches in Halo 4 and none in Halo 5. I didn't like the campaign in Halo 4 but I found a few of the Halo 5 campaign maps are fun. What I really didn't like about Halo 5 was the silly, vastly overdone cliché story of an Omniscient, Omnipresent, all-powerful Cortana Dictator executing her will on the universe while killing anyone that refuses to submit to her so she can cure all the ills of the entire universe. Sorry for that last run-on sentence! I'm nearing 60 years old and I've seen this type of story played out countless times. I'm turning into a curmudgeonly old guy, so I've become tired and bored with the same-old-stuff these days! I say this in jest, but, I was joking with my wife after playing Halo 5 by comparing Cortana to the previous promises by the Democrats during the last presidential election.

In Halo 6, I would like to never again be forced to play alongside a group of stupid AI team mates. I would also like to play as the Master Chief throughout the entire game. 343 needs to not add so many of those damned Promethean Pitbulls. I've been killed more times by those stupid puppy dogs then by any other enemy in the game.

This next comment is directed to 343's mission designers. Halo is a shooter, in case you forgot that! I say that because in Halo 5, nearly all the weapons have so little ammo that I found myself on the constant hunt for weapons instead of confidently marching into battles with the weapons I like to use. Halo is a shooter. Give the player weapons with lots of ammo instead of forcing us to ignore the battles while engaged in the endless hunt for weapons. The enemy held weapons all have a near infinite range for the projectiles. When I first played the second map, Blue Team, I was killed repeatedly by a Needler wielding Grunt that was so far away it looked like a tiny spot that I guessed was probably 200+ yards away. Not fun!
