Re: Yep, give us this gen's ODST!
Little bite-sized settings, free from the restraints of a prolonged space opera, intrigue me a whole lot more than the likes of Halo 2 or Halo 5: Guardians. It just feels like too much sometimes, y'know? I enjoyed the sense of being firmly stuck in occupied New Mombasa in ODST. Only in an introduction and conclusion out of our control would we be lifted from the terrifying circumstances we dropped feet first into. A survival horror game with Flood or Lekgolo or even ascetic Sangheili hunting is down as a puny, puny unaugmented human sounds so lively.
