Earlier this week my sister and I started something that was a long time coming, which was me showing her Halo, starting with Halo 1. The parents finally agreed to it so I got my original Xbox out and let her play, and today we started playing co-op since she's having trouble with it and I'd want to check in constantly anyway. Also before she played I had her read at least the story section of the manual and watch the various convention presentations on Halo 1.

It's been pretty fun. I plan on taking her through every game in release order. What should I do to keep this enjoyable?

Also, our co-op game didn't seem to save properly, even though single-player saved fine. does anyone know what could be wrong or what we can do about it?

Does anyone else have stories of introducing younger family members to Halo?
