In Response To: What Should Carry Over to Halo 6 from Halo 5? (MacGyver10)

: So I was reading the news from DBO that Destiny2 won't carry over much of
: anything from Destiny1, and it made me wonder what you expect to carry
: over from Halo 5 to Halo 6?

: I've heard a lot of people say how disappointed/angry/whatever they would be
: if Halo 6 launches as bare bones as Halo 5 (which is understandable), and
: one idea put forth seems to be Halo 6 sharing many of the game assets from
: Halo 5.

: My thoughts is that they don't have to carry over my entire REQ collection IF
: they've reworked the presentation and acquiring process for REQ's. If I
: can set a goal of certain REQ's and it's not random again, then I won't be
: as miffed when I don't immediately have my armor set to start with. I'd
: prefer to have everything carry over, but I don't realistically expect
: that to happen.

Personally I don't mind if nothing carries over, but then again I've only ever bought one REQ pack (the helmet pack), and even that I'm fine with losing moving on to a new game. I definitely would like to see more REQs tied to specific achievements or in-game accomplishments. Also maybe we don't need 10 variants of Mongoose? A simplified REQ system would make for a much less grindy experience altogether.
