I miss those days too. The quintessential days of Halo fandom.

Or, you know, they get fanned back into flame.

Just depends on whether the folks who were originally inspired to get on and revel with others can be inspired to do so again, even despite their circumstances being different than they were back then.

So here's hoping that the future of Halo will be different enough from the present that it causes such a thing to be possible.
