Artistic interpretation is a perfectly legitimate excuse for most things. Especially in things like Halo Legends, and in regards to the design of some things when 343i took over.

Asset reuse is also fine, and something the real world and reality of game design demands.

The sooner folks accept this, the sooner we can move on. This isn't meant as some fanboy defense of 343i. I don't like all of the design changes 343i made. But the point stands that they made them, and it's not going to be reversed, so it's really up to us to just accept that and move on.

People can't just complain about stuff like this all the time. At some point, folks just have to reconcile the reality of what Halo is now with their expectations and hopes of what it is.

Sorry, this turned into a rant, and it's not one that's necessarily directed at you, gamerguy. I just get a little tired of seeing the same crap leveled against 343i every time they release something. It's always, "Man, 343i changed this and this and this, and I don't like it, and Halo isn't as good as it was under Bungie, etc. etc. etc." At what point do these people just accept that Halo has changed, and new Halo isn't ever going to be what they want and move on?
