My thought's exactly! Now it's more like okay so Jul 'Mdama wears blue armor so are blue Elites like generals now? Will I get my ass kicked if I come at them with an assault rifle? So Zealots are now crimson instead of gold. Okie dokes. So who are the majors now? Are there even majors?

It's just kinda unnecessary. I don't mind that they have unique armor variations but I think they should have stuck with most Covenant enemies, the typical rank and file, being distinguished like they always were. Just as long as they have brighter, more defined color on their armor then I'm totally fine with whatever elaborate headdress they want to rock.

I feel like whoever did the colors for Halo 5's armor customization was wearing sunglasses that day. All of the colors seem like a few shades darker than what you actually want at times. Trying out the Mark VI armor I noticed that the secondary accent color was an incredibly dark shade no matter if I chose white or pink. Then I tried on the Nomad armor and the white was simply white.
