I love the time they spent on the environment. I spent quite a fair bit of time walking around exploring my surroundings. Art is amazing, gameplay is fantastic.
While the storyline was gripping, I had a feeling of dread throughout the entire campaign. I hated the idea of fighting enemies that Cortana was directing toward me, and was hoping so much that there would be a rational explanation for her actions. More than that, and especially after just playing H4, Cortana's character shift seems out of place. I still can't quite accept/grasp that she turned evil after all the groundwork that was laid out for her and chief in H4.
While a lot of you might disagree, I think H4 really made you feel like a hero- you were given clear objectives and everything you did made you one step closer to saving the galaxy. Whereas in H5 we're told from the start that Cortana may be the cause of all this trouble, and the whole game involves you trying to find out exactly what's going on. Only to find out that yes, Cortana is the cause of all this trouble. No explanation (that makes sense), the end.
