I guess when it gets down to it, we dunno what's involved or *required* for converting a human mind to an AI. Is this sort of step always involved? Or was it a special step pulled so BB could interrogate her?
Also, I presume that the testimony means that BB's fragment got trashed? I suppose they could have grabbed him when they picked up Mia's body, but the implication I got from BB about the EM and gravimetric disturbances was that they'd cause actual damage to him.
