In Response To: How to get caught up before Halo 5? (Mariachi)

: Greetings HBO! It has been far too long since I've laid eyes on your
: beautiful face. I've been spending my time over at DBO, but this place is
: still my first love. And I am definitely looking forward to sinking my
: teeth back into Halo in two weeks, but to be honest, I feel way behind on
: everything. I've got bits and pieces, but I feel like I am lacking
: context. I've got questions that need answering.

: 1. Hunt the truth. I have a basic idea of the premise, but I'd like to get
: the whole story. I plan to listen to the whole thing soon, but I won't
: have a chance before H5 drops. Is there a really good summary or synopsis
: of each episode I can read somewhere?

Here is a synopsis for each episode and season via the Halopedia for Season 1 and Season 2 so far.

: 3. What is a REQ and how does it affect the gameplay?

This crazy video featuring Mister Chief might actually be the best way of summing up and explaining REQ cards!

As far as two, I'm a horrible person to ask as I don't delve as deep as others, but at the same time have been following along for so long with Halo I feel like there's nothing that will surprise me much or that I'm unaware of. As for four, I feel you really will just need to play the game. There are some 'spartan abilities' that are different, but it's still Halo. And lastly five, not sure really. Someone else can probably help you out better with answers to those questions.
