It was acceptable to bring Jun back because his fate was actually ambiguous. That's just not the case with Jorge. We see the ship he is standing on explode within seconds of him exiting our line of sight.

To say that retconning Jorge's death would stretch disbelief beyond the breaking point is putting it lightly.
