I just have to say, this game really holds up. It's still a great game. While all of the past Halo campaigns are still fun to run through, ODST is a particular delight, and I feel like it doesn't show it's age nearly as much as Halo 1-3 do. I can't put my finger on exactly why, but I think in large part it has to do with movement speed. It feels faster in ODST than it does in the rest of them. I played Halo 3 earlier today while ODST was downloading, and the difference is huge. Halo 3 (and the rest) feel pretty slow and clunky, whereas ODST feels a lot more in line with more modern shooters, even with it's lack of sprint. It just feels faster in all aspects, gunplay included.
So really, I'm just posting to say, holy crap, I knew there was a reason ODST was my favorite. It's still an incredibly fun experience.
