: It's tiring, and probably why this place gets trafficked so infrequently now

Over on Spacebattles.com, there's a Halo thread with, I'm guessing, twenty or more regular participants. A lot of those guys are fairly positive about 343i's changes, some of them think that Bungie was horrible for the series and 343i's the best thing that could have happened, some of them are about as dismissive as I am of 343i, and a few are even worse.

Since that thread was started just under a year ago, there have been 35,508 posts. Talking about Halo, bullshitting memes, bragging about how awesome Blue Team is going to be, dissecting the latest Halo media, etc.

As I said, there's a lot of negativity in that thread. We've bashed our heads together over and over and over again about how spectacularly incompetent Sarah Palmer is. Petra's choice of defensive pistol sparked pages of outrage and debate about how stupid it is to carry a revolver in the 26th century. But we still come and talk about Halo. Hell, all the news that has been posted on this forum I first heard about on that thread.

This forum may be dying out, but it ain't because of the negativity.
