: Simply saying that these stories suck and 343i is terrible is a waste of
: time. I want to figure out why I hate these stories and and talk about how
: they work.

Because people don't like change.

Because many of us are older and or more jaded.

Because what once thrilled us is now not enough.

Because the masses are idiots and things MUST be catered to the lowest common denominator for most of them to understand.

Because we miss Bungie-Halo.

Because Destiny isn't Halo.

Because Halo isn't a trend setter like it used to be. There is competition for attention.

Because the fans are stupid and want new things but also don't want anything to be different.

Because everything has to be a spectacle now.

Because the internet is cruel and if something isn't an unqualified success, it won't get a second chance.

Because no one wants to take risks.

Because nostalgia is a bitch.

Because perhaps, maybe, my golden days of Halo have passed. I'll never love another Halo game like I did Combat Evolved or Halo Wars. I was a kid for most of that, with unlimited free time and zero responsibility. But I try to remind myself, that somewhere out there, Halo 4 was some kid's golden era of Halo. Soon, Halo 5 will be some other kids golden era of Halo. The cycle begins a new!

Broken Circle was awesome and I really liked it.
