: Is it just me or did the sound effects in H1-Reach sound more ... hefty?
I didn't notice it for a while, but the assault rifle really sounded bad in Halo 4. I can't describe it except as a "poppy" quality. From what I've heard of the Halo 5 version, it sounds less so, which is good. Otherwise, nothing stands out at me when I hear things, which is probably a good sign because if they sounded distinctly "wrong" I would pick them out easier.
I do wish we could go back to the deeper, "gruntier" growl the Warthog used to have. The Halo 4 one sounds too high-pitched, less "oomph."
