: You'd think it was silk, but it turns out they're polyester (poly jersey),
: which is the cheapest material on the market ($3 online for a base one.
: Just get a design printed on it elsewhere). I looked around the store, and
: some artists do have some neat designs (such as a full-canvas bookshelf),
: but nothing that is worth even $30, much less $55.
: Sammy and I joke around when we find a really awesome shirt design, and then
: we bet each other whether it'll be a "screw that" $25 on
: RedBubble. 9 times out of 10, it is. Thank goodness for Feistees.com, lots
: of great stuff for cheap.
Comparing Nuvango to Redbubble or even Feistees, is like comparing a apple to a car just because they happen to be the same color.
Where are the shirts made? Are they in-house, made in America, or made in some sweatshop in China? Are the desugns printed on both the front and back? Or are they simply on the front (or back) only? What about the size if the print? Is it taking up the entire shirt or is it mearly Iron-On size? What about the quality of the shirts? Do they feel cheap? Do they have and loose strands ir fibirs after a wash?
Sorry to inform you, Munky, but printing is not easy, nor is it cheap. Try taking any design or image (that you own) to a T-shirt printer and ask that it be screen printed (in CMYK color) to fill fill the shirt. And also demand it be printed on both the front, back, and sleaves. Then tell them that you only want one shirt and will only pay $10-20 for it. They will either stare at you as uf you're the dumbest oerson in the world, ir they will laugh in your face.
As for Redbubble, shirts start at $20. That's before the artist adds his/her roalty percentage. That's why the only sales you ever see on Redbubble never drop below $20. Because, with each sale, it's the artist that looses out. Don't believe me? The sign up yourself and order a shirt from your account. Rebubnle gives you that option.
