Raises an interesting question about the nature of slipspace travel. We know it's not supposed to be instantaneous, given that ships can still take days-weeks-months to reach their destination. But can this length of time vary depending on the speed in which the object travels within slipspace itself? I.e. could communication waves travelling at the speed of light, as opposed to a ship travelling at speed x, reach their destination faster?
So could a network of comm buoys within slipspace enable the speed of communications we've seen in HtT?
