Playing content and playing to specifically work towards an achievement are two separate things.

I like to complete games in terms of achievements. That's one of the things I enjoy about Xbox 360. I'm proud to have If They Came To Hear Me Beg, and A Monument To All Your Sins. But having to do the exact same ones is tedious. If they had changed something about it, I wouldn't be complaining. Instead of copy/pasting almost every achievement ever made, why not just come up with something interesting, something that can actually be done.
