I generally like their actually new weapons (Railgun, SAW, Hydra, Boltshot [even if the Boltshot's implementation was awful]). They also did some weapons correctly (AR in H4 and H5, H4 Magnum, FRG, DMR, H4 Rockets). Redesigning weapons is what's bad. Especially when they look terrible (Sniper, Shotty, BR, Beam Rifle, H5 Rockets).

They can put their stamp on Halo with NEW things. There's no need to mess with the sights and sounds people are used to.
