I feel like Halo is less like Mario and more like Sonic...

It's trying new things, but not the right new things, and keeps trying to remove what made it popular to begin with... only to add them back later.

I don't think Halo can last another 20-years, it feels like we're in the decline recently, so unless 343i comes out with a killer new Halo that Blows Us Away, I don't think it is even going to last until 2020.

I mean, I would love it if Halo did last until 2037 and released sweet and innovative new games, but I don't see it happening in the foreseeable future. :(
