I played the first few minutes of Halo 4. I’ve got my problems with the game, but man, it was beautiful and silky smooth. Already it seems better than I remember.

I started downloading the game yesterday and it was very slow (I think I was at 29% when I left this morning—it went from 17 to only 29% overnight), but it did let me start accessing parts.

I played a bit of Assault on the Control Room this morning. Also silky smooth and pretty. Loaded a few of unique maps that shipped only with the PC version. Very cool. Old and new graphics look great. You know how the screenshots always looked better than the game? Now everything looks as good as the best screenshots. Impressive.
