I thought Halo 4's writing left a lot to be desired. The Didact especially was a flat villain. Maybe we'll get lucky and MS gets Joe Staten back on writing duty in Halo. Joe always did the best Halo stuff, having penned Halo 1, Halo 2, ODST, and Contact: Harvest.
