I'm about 1/2 way through and really enjoying it so far, much more than I did the Kilo5 trilogy. The Elites feel right, there's been nods to other areas of the lore, and overall it feels like the author has a much better understanding on how to write the Covenant.

We'll see if that holds true for me at the end of the book.
