Halo 2 all the way back in 2004 still impresses me more than a great deal of today's games in the shooter genre. It has yet to dawn on me that this is a ten year old game when I enjoy even the thought of it more than the variety of modern titles or the lack thereof. All of its visuals, dialogue, and animation only strengthen the exciting narrative Bungie set out to tell. I remember thinking what a wonder Halo 2 was when I first played it on that November night ten years ago. Going through that all over again in just a few short days should be so sweet. :)
