When the Covenant attacked Circinius IV/CAMS, they found Beamish cleaning up even as the Academy was destroyed. Apparently, his exceptional janitorial skills made him an asset. As of the events of Halo 2, he was employed full-time scrubbing away Unggoy blood on the walls of High Charity.

I like to think he made it to the surface of Delta Halo, and is still there, slowly mopping his way through the many installations, glowering at the Sentinels, and thinking of his sweet, foggy, Scotland.

Nice eye for detail, Metalingus!
