Halo "tribute" in 1001 Spikes

I put tribute in quotes because it's really closer to "unlicensed cameo." There is a "Space Marine" character in hard as nails indie game 1001 Spikes, which is on a number of platforms, Xbox One included. This character can shoot his rifle, which sprays multiple bullets at enemies, destroying them quickly (the main character, by comparison, throws a single knife one at a time and takes a while to kill enemies). Additionally, Space Marine can use a plasma sword when in close proximity to an enemy. Also, it should probably go without saying that he looks a lot like a certain Spartan II we all know and love

Sound familiar? Yeah, that's pretty much the Halo theme mashed up with 1001 Spikes' theme. Pretty cool tribute, if you ask me.
