I enjoyed H4 overall much more than H2 or Reach, it's tied with H3/ODST for me as second best game in the series. It really reminds me so much of H1.

I loved the MP until the balance patch. More than anything, upping the speed of the game and the extra emphasis on ranged headshot weapons made it feel more CODish than the loadout systems. You just get killed so quickly and have so little time to react... so annoying. That's the primary reason I stopped playing more than anything else. They should have just nerfed the DMR instead of assuming people liked it because it was the fastest to kill with, while people really preferred it because it gave them an edge over other players..
