We've accepted all sorts of flagrant violations of established physics for the sake of a good story or at least a setting with all sorts of neat stuff, FTL travel and insanely huge spaceships being among them. The Death Star I was actually a starship, not a space station, yet we aren't bothered by the fact that the 120-km behemoth could travel through space via its own propulsion. Did you have the same problem with High Charity being mobile as shown in Halo 2 & 3? If so, just repeat the MST3K Mantra:
