What is with the "never seen before missions" line? Also, what is with the Halo Reach Multiplayer maps playable in Halo 2" line?

Is this just underhanded marketing? Are they implying that the new terminals create new "missions" for the player? Are they implying that since there were a handful of Halo 2 remakes in Reach, that having them in their original form is like getting Halo Reach maps? Or did they actually add new missions into Halo 2, like the cut moon level? Did they actually add Halo Reach maps and place them within the Halo 2 engine. Did the Microsoft employee who made this even know what he or she was talking about? Forgive me if this has been discussed already; I just want some clarification.
