They went as far to say that he would be a primary character in a game after Master Chief Collection. Chris being as dumb as he is said that means he will get his own game and they may kill off the Master Chief after Halo 5, but what Colter meant was Locke is a primary playable character in Halo 5 much like how the Arbiter was a primary playable character in Halo 2. Another example is they were talking about Halo Master Chief Collection a few months ago at either PAX or San Diego Comic Con or another convention and they mentioned that MCC would have cutscenes to bridge story between Halo 4 and 5. Chris immediately jumped to the conclusion that Halo 4 would get new cutscenes depicting Blue Team fighting Didact in The Next 72 Hours from Halo Escalation when what 343i was really talking about was the book-end cutscenes as well as the terminals at the beginning and end of Halo 2 Anniversary where Locke would meet and talk with the Arbiter. I swear to God Chris is terrible at theories, analysis, and immediately jumps to stupid conclusions out of nothing.
